General Information

  • Payment: You get paid!! The paid amount is determined prior to the program and is contingent on the number of participants.  

  • Facilities:  St Ignace Recreation Department will ensure the program is being offered at a location that works best for the program. 

  • How to Propose a new program:  If you are interested in partnering with the recreation department to offer a new program, read the handbook below, complete the application, and drop it off at the office at your convenience.   

  • Applications forms can be submitted any time of the year. However, please allow us adequate time to promote the program before the start.   

Benefits of Partnering with the Us

  • Registration: St Ignace Recreation Department will handle all payment and registration, this allows you as the Instructor to focus on  the lesson plans and execution of the program. 

  • Exposure: Contractor programs will be featured on the recreation department website, social media, newspaper, and a quarterly newsletter.

  • Support: he St. Ignace Recreation Department will work hard with the contractor to ensure the success of the program. Not just at the beginning to get the program started but all the way through till the end.
